We all know that plants grow faster and heal when music is played or they are spoken to regularly, but it may also be possible to heal plants with your touch. The capacity to heal plants through touch depends largely on what ails the plant and your own connection to channeling and healing. Plants absorb energy easily, so if you are sick yourself, refrain from trying to heal your plants until you have recovered your health.
Often ailing and damaged plants become worse when handled by humans because the cellular tissues of the plant are fragile and often bruised. If your plant is falling apart, healing through touch is not recommended. Instead you may try placing your hands around the container, visualize healing energy pouring down from the sun into your body and then flowing through your arms into your hand and through the pot into the soil. Visualize the healing energy flowing up through the roots and reviving the plant. When you have finished, say a prayer over the plant.
If the plant seems like it is low on chi (life energy) you may touch the base of its stem very lightly and visualize this healing energy restoring the plant. The base of the stem is the equivalent of the plant's base chakra.
You might also try reshaping the aura of the plant. To do this, touch the plant without making physical contact with any of its petals or leaves. Like people, plants radiate an energy field. If you are adept at seeing auras, you may be able to detect where your plant is losing energy and manipulate the 'halo' of the plant to restore its integrity.
Of course, sometimes all a plant needs is pruning. Remove any dead blossoms or leaves as they suck the life energy from the plant. Water appropriately, speak softly, and handle with care.
