Create an Aroma Garden that Heals and Uplifts

Flowers and herbs have a very high vibration that heals and uplifts the spirit. You might want to consider planting these essential herbs and flowers to create an aroma garden that heals and uplifts.

Lavender

No healing garden is complete without lavender. Not only is it one of the most aromatic of all of the herbs, it is also calming and astonishing to behold. There are literally dozens of varieties, and you can surround yourself in aroma. Just sitting near a bed of lavender is therapeutic if you are depressed or feeling depleated. Its message is healing.

Thyme

Thyme contains thymol, which is an antibacterial and antiviral agent. It is good for the lungs and respiratory disorders. It is very calming when inhaled. Thyme symbolizes protection.

Rosemary

Rosemary has a powerful aroma and when used as a compress can clear up tension headaches. It is rejuvenating and restorative. Rosemary's message is luck, and we love planting it near entryways where it welcomes good fortune.

Sage

The heady smell of sage has renowned cleansing qualities. If you are burdened with heavy thoughts, it can help you to be more objectiove and lighten your load. It is used to purify and clear space and is perhaps best known as the herb used to clean a home of unwanted energy.

Summer Savory

If your thinking is unclear, a whiff of this common cooking herb can help restore clarity and vigor to a tired mind. Use this to awaken bright thoughts.

Parsley

Parsley purifies the environment in which it is grown. When inhaled it also restores vitality and improves the libido. Plant it in a windowbox to invite prosperity into your home.

Marjoram

If chronic tension and stress are a problem then the camphorous and hypnotic scent of marjoram is a powerful mind relaser. Use marjoram to send away unwanted stressors.

No garden is complete without mint as it cheers the soul. Mint is said to draw fairies to the garden. Try planting several kinds of mint including spearmint and peppermint to make your surroundings smell like heaven.

A word to the wise however--plant your mint in a pot or it will overtake your garden. It can also be planted in its pot to prevent the roots from spreading. Plant mint to invite happy memories.

These are just a few of the core herbs and flowers essential for creating an aroma garden that heals and uplifts. Choose other scentual flowers to give it a personal touch.
