Hi I’m Tori Hartman and I’m so happy to welcome you to Blessed Gardens. I am a professional intuitive, and am absolutely devoted to my garden.

This site was borne out of a personal passion for my garden. In 2006, I was invited to participate in a Bravo show, which aired July 2007. During the time of the shoot I began updating my personal website. To center myself I would spend time each day taking in my garden, but I quickly became obsessed with the multitude of Sunflowers growing in my yard. Months prior, I had randomly tossed seeds in the ground and it felt as though they were coming up everywhere!

One night I couldn’t sleep and began surfing the web. I thought about the beautiful sunflowers outside and wondered what they symbolized. I searched to find the meaning and found little more than a dictionary analogy, which felt hollow to me.

Then a name came to me and I typed it in: www.blessedgardens.com. And to my surprise, no one had the URL. It was then in that moment that I decided that this was something I needed to create.

This team has had many transitions and fumbles too as I learned about websites… Beginning with Jaime my Internet consultant, and Michael who built the original site to Daniel who redesigned the new site and Rob who programmed it. It’s hard to believe how many people it takes to build a community! And I would be lost without Lorenzo who has stepped in as our coordinator. Brittany our project manager… gosh we just keep growing! And now we have many fine writers who have joined us as well.

Honestly, I had no idea when I dreamed up this site the level of commitment and work it would take to do this.

My vision was somewhere we could come and linger, a place to ponder the meaning of things (as I do in my garden); and a place that would include our inner garden, our self-work, which is the central focus of my life’s work. It has been nothing short of a miracle how each month we all connect to bring Blessed Gardens to life.

We recently launched our store where we invite affiliates to come aboard who we feel will best serve your needs. This is a place to shop and find unusual items that we uncover each month. When you click and buy something from one of our merchants, we receive a commission on a sale, which supports Blessed Gardens.

Oh, and you can always send your comments to us. We’d love to hear from you at editor(at)blessedgardens.com

Thank you for your attention. We all send you many blessings.
